I don't know who made this dart, but they sure did their best to lodge that point in there. The dart was very hot, but no amount of pulling with two pairs of pliers would get it out. Well, I tried this today and I can't say it was a success. Just be sure to wrap the barrel so the pliers won't mar it. I've done this many times in the past and it works just fine. I read somewhere about blowtorches which I simply don't have, but I obviously have a stove. You don't want it to get red hot, but maybe just about 10 seconds over a low flame and the point should come out easily. I would put the point end of the dart and part of the barrel on the grate of my gas stove and heat it up a bit. Perhaps you need a smaller head to work right. (07-19-2017, 10:36 PM)gumbo2176 Wrote: Pop rivet guns usually come with an assortment of heads that are used to remove a variety of pop rivet sizes.
